On May 4, 2019 Riding 4 a Reason hosted a beautiful ride through the foothills of Central California to benefit a family affected by a variety of health issues.
The ride was to benefit Kimi Saimon and her family. At the age of fourteen, Kimi was incorrectly medicated for her Carnitine Deficiency. This dangerous medication caused permanent damage and Kimi was diagnosed with Dystonia, a neurological disorder that has no cure. Treatment to alleviate symptoms, including severe, painful involuntary muscle movement, is extreme in itself – including implantation of electrodes in the brain.
We had a great day for a great cause – Here are some memories from the day…
We would like to thank our sponsors – John’s Crane Service, Koyote Productions and Coarsegold Historic Village – For helping to make our event memorable.
